Every piece leaves our studio from Aurora, Colorado. Because each item is handmade and rested at the base of an altar before shipping, we take care with how it's sent. Orders are packed thoughtfully and shipped via USPS.
Standard shipping rates apply at checkout through our Etsy shop. Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and dimensions of your order and your delivery address.
Standard Relics & Ready Items: Please allow 3–5 business days for processing before your order ships.
Custom Relic Sets & Panels: Custom orders require a channeling session before creation. Please allow 7–14 business days for processing. We will contact you when your order has been completed and is ready to ship.
Delivery: Once shipped, most domestic orders arrive within 3–7 business days depending on your location.

Because each piece is singular, handmade, and energetically prepared before leaving our studio, we do not accept returns or exchanges. Every item is one of a kind and cannot be restocked or resold once it has found its keeper.

For custom orders, we encourage you to be as detailed as possible in your personalization notes. Once a channeling session has begun for your piece, the process cannot be reversed.
If your order arrives damaged due to shipping, please photograph the damage and contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@houseoftheembermoon.com. We will work with you and the carrier to find a resolution.

A Relic is a stone, shell, or piece of wood bearing symbols received through automatic drawing — recorded by hand onto the surface during a channeling session. Each Relic is a singular energy conduit, not a decorative object. It was made in correspondence with something, and it continues that correspondence when it's in the world.
Yes, completely. No symbol is repeated across pieces. Each mark arrives once, belongs to the piece it was born into, and will not be reproduced. When you receive a Relic, you are receiving something that existed nowhere before it arrived through this practice.
When you place a custom order, you provide your intention, question, or threshold in the personalization notes at checkout. That intention is taken to the veil — encoded into the surface in a channeled alphabet before the drawing begins. What comes through is recorded by hand. The piece that returns to you carries your correspondence. Please allow 7–14 business days for custom orders.
We work with stones, shells, and wood — primarily riverstone, clam shell, scallop shell, driftwood, selenite, and hardboard wood panels. All materials are natural. Nothing synthetic. Each material is chosen for its energetic properties as well as its surface quality for receiving channeled marks.

Commissions are not the right word for what we do — you cannot commission a specific image, because the marks aren't ours to direct. What you can do is bring an intention to a custom order and trust what arrives. If you'd like to discuss what that might look like for you, reach out before ordering.

Keep it somewhere intentional. It doesn't need to be on an altar — it just shouldn't be in a drawer. Some people place theirs in a window, on a nightstand, or at their workspace. The correspondence continues when the piece is visible and present. Avoid submerging shells or stones in water, and keep panels out of direct prolonged sunlight to preserve the paint.
